Transparency Framework

Transparency Framework

A developing framework for reports, treasury visibility, grant records, governance records, and security disclosures that can make stewardship activity inspectable.

Transparency categories are being prepared for future publication. This page does not represent that any treasury, grant, or governance authority is currently active.

01

Annual reports

Annual reports are expected to summarize initiative activity, research priorities, material governance developments, public goods planning, and known limitations.

A useful annual report should separate completed work, proposed work, and unresolved questions.

02

Treasury transparency framework

A treasury transparency framework would define how future treasury-related information, if any, should be published and reviewed.

No active treasury operation is represented here. Any future framework would require legal review, scope definition, and clear public disclosure.

03

Grant records

Grant records would identify future public goods support, review criteria, recipient obligations, conflicts, milestones, and reporting expectations.

The framework is intended to prevent ambiguity between proposed support, approved support, and completed funding activity.

04

Governance records

Governance records should make process visible: proposals, review windows, stated rationales, dissenting views, final decisions, and implementation status.

The objective is institutional memory that can be inspected without requiring private access or informal trust.

05

Security disclosures

Security disclosures require care because premature publication can increase risk. The framework should define responsible disclosure channels, review responsibilities, and public reporting standards.

Disclosure practices should balance transparency with the need to protect users, contributors, and protocol infrastructure.
